Set in a dark, gritty future, this game follows ex-Black Ops commando Joseph Turok as he joins an elite squad of Special Forces soldiers sent to capture Roland Kane, an escaped war criminal and Turoks former mentor. Unbeknownst to Turok and his team, Kane is now overseeing a secret military operation for the Mendel-Gruman Corporation on a planet genetically-altered to allow for rapid evolution. As they near the planet where their target is hiding, their ship is detected and shot down by Kanes men and they crash land into the jungle below. Turok must shoot to survive as he faces Kanes army in a world inhabited by hordes of predatory creatures. Even with a huge arsenal of weapons at his disposal, he and his team face overwhelming opposition. To stay live, Turok must rely on the cold-blooded combat training he has worked so hard to suppress as he confronts his demons and faces the man who helped create him - the evil Kane.
