The Konftel 60W is a Bluetooth conference phone system that is wireless, easily portable and ideal for people on the move. Suitable for medium to small meeting rooms with up to ten participants, conference calling offers a cost effective alternative to traditional face to face meetings as there are no travel costs and meetings can be held anywhere and at your convenience. Bluetooth Enabled The Konftel 60W will connect wirelessly to any Bluetooth enabled device, including mobile phones, PDA's and laptops, so meetings can even take place in areas where there are no telephone lines present. You only need connection to a power outlet. The wireless Konftel 60W can be positioned anywhere up to 10 metres away from your chosen Bluetooth device. Supplied with the Konftel 60W is a telephone cable and switch box, allowing you to alternatively connect the conference system directly to the handset outlet of virtually any analogue or digital corded telephone. The switchbox lets you re-attach the handset or even a headset which will let you take calls in private if required. Expandable Coverage This stylish conference system features OmniSound technology, that delivers clear and natural sounding speech and is also fully duplex, which means that all the meeting participants can speak at once and be heard. The powerful omni-directional microphone has a 360-degree coverage and it's three in built surround speakers reproduce high quality sound in all directions. The coverage can be extended further by equipping your Konftel 60W with the optional extra microphones. These work well when the conference system is used in larger meeting areas. Once connected, these microphones can reach the farthest ends of a large table, allowing people who would usually be out of range to participate in the meeting. The area of coverage is then increased from the standard 30m to 70m. Alternative Telephone Connection When connected to a PC, this compact desktop conference unit acts like an IP softphone, allowing you to make VoIP calls through the computer and bypass the call charges that telephone companies usually impose, therefore the call is free. When The Konftel 60W is connected to a traditional telephone it works with the telephone's functions but you can also access features like volume, mute, redial through the systems well designed fascias. There is an R button featured on the facias, which when pressed allows you to bring a third party into the meeting. You can manually tune the microphones to perfection or press the trim button and the Konftel 60W will emit a sound which automatically assesses the room size and acoustics and adjust the microphones accordingly.
